Arizona Tax Credit Donation
In the state of Arizona, an income tax credit is available for contributions to Opportunity4Kids as a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO), previously known as the working poor tax credit. Opportunity4Kids Arizona QCO Code is 20769.
Individual filers can donate up to $400, and joint filers up to $800, and get dollar for dollar back! Donations may now be made on or before April 15th to be applied to the current or preceding taxable year. Furthermore, donations to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCO), Qualifying Foster Care Organizations (QCFO), a Public School or Private School Tuition are each claimed as separate tax credits and can be combined.
How the Tax Credits Works- Anyone who pays state taxes may be eligible for the tax credit when donating to a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO).* This is a dollar-for-dollar state income tax credit. That means every dime of qualifying donations come back to you at tax time!
