HOMERUN! Baseball Scholarship for Saul

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Baseball leagues provide the perfect opportunity for Arizona youth to participate in a group sport while also offering opportunities for individual growth and development. With nearly year-round beautiful weather, Baseball can be played or practiced essentially all year long in Arizona. From individual drill practice to team games and competitions, Baseball affords a resource for children to cultivate positive team building and good sportsmanship skills.

Put Me in Coach!

Saul, a 12-year old boy in Phoenix, has been interested in Baseball for months now. Unfortunately, his mother Luz, could not afford to enroll Saul in a league and pay for the required equipment. Luz reached out to Opportunity4Kids to inquire about Scholarship for a 8-week Training Camp, Baseball uniform and equipment.

Homerun- Baseball Scholarship for Saul!

Opportunity4Kids is proud to Scholarship Saul- providing financial assistance for his fees, baseball pants, practice shirt, cleats, glove and helmet. Opportunity4Kids Director of Operations, Alexandra, took Saul and his mother shopping to pick out every item. Saul loved shopping for his baseball equipment and especially enjoyed picking out his bright blue Baseball helmet- sure to give him good luck during his training academy.

Swing for the Stars!

Saul is very much looking forward to the Training Academy that started this Spring with Cactus Youth Baseball League and hopes to move on to the full competitive League once completed. He mentioned that he has wanted to play Baseball for so long and looks forward to growing up with the sport. We are very excited to see Saul achieve his Baseball dreams and look forward to seeing where this young athlete will go!
