About the Role:
Opportunity4Kids is seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Intern to support awareness, donor engagement, and fundraising through digital content. This is an ideal opportunity for a student passionate about youth equity, digital media, and nonprofit storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and implement a social media content calendar (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Create graphics, videos, and messaging aligned with our mission
Develop and schedule posts to promote scholarship stories, events, and fundraising efforts
Analyze post performance and adjust strategies for engagement
Assist with monthly newsletters and donor communications
Support content creation for website updates
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong writing and graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
Knowledge of major social platforms and best practices
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and bring fresh ideas
Passion for increasing access to extracurriculars for underserved youth

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Programs & Scholarship Intern to assist with application processing and family communications. You’ll play a key role in helping us serve more kids across Arizona through extracurricular scholarships.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process incoming scholarship applications
Communicate with families regarding application status and follow-ups
Support coordination with activity providers (sports, dance, STEM, etc.)
Help maintain program tracking systems (Google Sheets, Monday.com)
Contribute to process improvement ideas and documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Organized, responsive, and proactive
Comfortable using Google Workspace and/or CRM tools
Interest in community service, education, or youth development

Location: Hybrid – Must be Phoenix-area based
Duration: ASAP – December 2025 (must be available for event prep through November)
Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week (flexible, with some in-person availability)
Compensation: Unpaid; mileage reimbursement is available for supervisor-approved local errands, in accordance with Arizona law.
About the Role:
Our Events & Fundraising Intern will work closely with the Director of Operations to plan and execute our signature fundraising event. If you’re excited by logistics, donor engagement, and event planning, this is hands-on nonprofit experience at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and coordinating our annual VIP Gala
Manage donation pickups (silent auction items, décor, supplies)
Support donor and vendor communications
Help organize materials, run errands, and assist onsite at events
Track RSVP lists, donations, and sponsorships
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and drive for local pickups (mileage tracked)
Detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments
Interest in nonprofit event planning, fundraising, or hospitality
