Why did you get involved with O4K?
In my 20 years coaching I witnessed too many unfair opportunities for kids. Many Families can’t afford a baseball glove, can’t pay for a musical instrument, or can’t pay for camp or a trip the child has earned! I believe every kid should be given the same opportunity as another child.

In what capacity have you been involved in sports? How long?
I have played sports for as long as I can remember. I was an All-State high school football player and subsequently coached football, baseball, and soccer. I was fortunate enough to coach a Pop Warner team to the national championship as well as coach high school football in Mesa, AZ.

Have you ever been involved with a Nonprofit? How long? What capacity?
I have contributed to nonprofits for many years but I have never been a part of one myself.

What is your goal in being part of O4K?
My goal for Opportunity4Kids is that every kid has the same opportunity as another kid. I think it is especially important for younger kids to be able to engage in certain activities.

What experience, education, and or professionalism do you bring to O4K?
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and went on to receive my J.D. from Whittier College and have been practicing Law for 25 years. Throughout my personal and professional life I have consistently assisted and supported kids both financially and emotionally, which was the basis for starting this foundation.
